BlackBerry STORM touchscreen Devices

1. To enter code, turn on with ORIGINAL SIM
2. go to: Options->Advanced Options->Sim Card
3. Then turn the device sideways and press menu to expose keyboard
4. type MEP2 (you won’t see a thing as you type).
5. A hidden menu will open
6. Then enter code we provided. You will get a message saying “Code accepted”.
7. You must then change modes by going to: Options->Mobile Network and change modes from UMTS or 2G/3G to JUST 2G and enjoy your unlocked phone!
   NOTE: If you are using an unlocked Verizon Storm and have “Activation Required” on your home screen or your phone number displays incorrectly, Dial # # 000000(Send). In the Menu add your phone number and select save. The device will re boot and activate.

Your device doesn’t support North American 3G  (HSPA)  AT&T and Rogers or (AWS) T-Mobile.

Chances are you have a T-Mobile or Wind device which only supports EDGE. The 3G technology is AWS on those devices, not HSPA. So ONLY EDGE will work since it is RIM limitation.

This is probably because you unlocked an EDGE only device which won’t work on those carriers. The only have a HSPA network, no EDGE. So you can only use a BlackBerry Bold 9000 or 9700.
