I just unlocked my Storm or Tour and I have no 3G on AT&T / Rogers / Tmobile etc
Your device doesn’t support North American 3G (HSPA) AT&T and Rogers or (AWS) T-Mobile.
I just unlocked my 9700 and 3G is not working on AT&T or Rogers
Chances are you have a T-Mobile or Wind device which only supports EDGE. The 3G technology is AWS on those devices, not HSPA. So ONLY EDGE will work since it is RIM limitation.
I just unlocked my BlackBerry Bold 9700 and 3G is not working on T-Mobile USA or Wind Canada
Chances are you have a AT&T or Rogers device which only supports EDGE. The 3G technology is HSPA on those devices, not AWS which is what T-Mobile USA and WIND Canada use for 3G. So Only EDGE will work.
I just unlocked my BlackBerry Bold 9000 and 3G is not working on T-Mobile USA
Chances are you have a AT&T or Rogers device which only supports EDGE. The 3G technology is HSPA on those devices, not AWS which is what T-Mobile uses for 3G. So Only EDGE will work.
I just unlocked my BlackBerry and have no service on Telus, Bell, or Wind
This is probably because you unlocked an EDGE only device which won’t work on those carriers. The only have a HSPA network, no EDGE. So you can only use a BlackBerry Bold 9000 or 9700.
